We are thrilled to announce that Fléttan has been awarded the Sproti grant from Rannís, securing 10 million ISK to propel our project forward! Building on the foundation laid by our Fræ grant, this new funding marks a major milestone in our mission to develop an advanced environmental hazard monitoring system for the Arctic.
Our platform leverages high-resolution satellite data and machine learning to track soil erosion, vegetation changes, and landslide risks—critical challenges in the rapidly changing Arctic landscape. By shifting from traditional monitoring methods to a remote, machine learning approach, Fléttan enhances accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in environmental management.
